On the name, halfwheel quotes Gomez: "When we smoke, we bend the air." The natural Air Bender wears a Habano-seed wrapper grown in Ecuador over Dominican binder and filler, per Cigar Aficionado, and La Flor Dominicana describes it as a full-bodied blend with estate-grown Dominican filler and binder. It is made at Tabacalera La Flor in the Dominican Republic.

A maduro Air Bender, with an Ecuadorian Habano maduro wrapper, launched at the 2015 IPCPR trade show in 20-count boxes, and the Matatan in a tube arrived in 2013.
