Macanudo Gold Label Duke of York
The Macanudo Gold Label Duke of York is a 5 1/4 x 54 robusto-size cigar in a Connecticut Shade wrapper, made in the Dominican Republic, sold by the single from our walk-in humidor at Sun of a Gun Cigars & Spirits, an official J.C. Newman Diamond Crown Cigar Lounge in Yuma, Arizona.
General Cigar first released Macanudo Gold Label in 2002, and it now arrives as an annual release. The blend uses Connecticut Shade wrapper from the first and second primings, a Mexican San Andrés binder, and a filler of Dominican Piloto Cubano and Mexican tobacco, all rolled at General Cigar Dominicana in the Dominican Republic. Gold Label does not list a Robusto; the Duke of York is its robusto-length size, packed 25 to a box.
