Opus X PerfecXion is the name Arturo Fuente gives a family of Fuente Fuente OpusX sizes, from the 4⅞ x 40 PerfecXion No. 5 to the 9⅛ x 47 PerfecXion A. It is not one shape: Cigar Insider filed the PerfecXion No. 4 as a corona in December 2013, Cigar Aficionado counted the No. 2 among the torpedos at the top of its 2007 list, and the 8-8-8 is a long, slim figurado with a tapered head. All are made at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia. in Santiago, Dominican Republic, and the classic OpusX wrapper is, in Cigar Aficionado's words, Cuban-seed and shade-grown at Chateau de la Fuente in the Bonao Valley.

About Fuente Fuente OpusX PerfecXion Cigars
Cigar Aficionado has placed PerfecXion sizes in its Top 25: the No. 5 at No. 13 for 2004 with 90 points, the No. 2 at No. 2 for 2007 with 95 points, and the PerfecXion X at No. 6 for 2014 with 94 points. The PerfecXion 8-8-8, a 6⅞ x 44, was shown at the 2018 IPCPR trade show and reached retailers in August 2018, halfwheel reported; Cigar Aficionado rated it 92 in April 2019.
We list the PerfecXion No. 4, No. 2 and 8-8-8 in the classic OpusX wrapper, and the PerfecXion X in its Angel's Share and Oro Oscuro versions. Sizes as Arturo Fuente lists them, except the 8-8-8, which is not on Arturo Fuente's current size list; its size is from Cigar Aficionado and halfwheel. For the Oro Oscuro tin, halfwheel listed the PerfecXion at 6¼ x 49 in 2023. Cigar Insider measured the No. 4 at 5 3/16 x 43 in December 2013.
The PerfecXion X
Cigar Aficionado ranked the OpusX PerfecXion X No. 6 of its Top 25 for 2014 at 94 points, calling it "one of the relatively newer sizes" and finding the line's spice and leathery kick with "notes of espresso and oaky wood." At 6¼ x 48 it is also made in two other OpusX wrappers, and those are the two we list: the Angel's Share PerfecXion X, under wrapper from the middle priming of the plant, and the Oro Oscuro PerfecXion X, under wrapper Arturo Fuente extra-ages and ferments.
